BLACK LIVES MATTER” is what many large groups are chanting throughout our society. This is a fairly new social movement that was organized a few years ago. Black Lives Matter movement is sociologically meaningful due to many recent killings of African Americans by law enforcement. These killings have had an abundant impact in America. The movement pulverized what remained of the ideology of a “post-racial” America in just a few weeks and reorganized the complete debate rotating around anti-Black racism thanks to the power of social media and other strategies adopted by Black Lives Matter Movement activists. Social media as well as other strategies have contributed immensely to the growth of the movement to other partsof the nation and the globe.
