Topic: Adobe Illustrator Magazine Design

Order Description

1.On Adobe Illustrator, you will create a 3-page magazine design, the cover and a center spread (two facing pages). Use 8.5” x 11” portrait pages. This will give you one page for the cover and then two pages next to each other for the spread. For the mechanical/execution part of the design, I will be looking at format, formula, frame, function of your magazine which means your cover and the grid used for your spread are coherent and in-sync. All headlines, subheads and captions should be real English text with a meaning. The body copy may be placeholder copy from InDesign. You need to design these pages based on all the design principles we covered throughout the semester.

2. In a Word document, identify and discuss: Message and audience Color choice and type choice Contrast, balance, repetition, alignment and flow

My magazine idea is about heavy metal music. Include Metallica, System Of A Down and Tool for content in the magazine.
