Project description
The setting of “A Rose for Emily” is the post Civil War South, and the South’s former grandeur seems to be almost another character in the story.
In a short essay of 250 – 300 words (about one (1) typed, double spaced page), discuss how Emily, and her home, are symbolic of the decline of the Old South. Use examples from the text for support.
Your essay should be double-spaced, and use 12 point Times New Roman font. You may cut and paste, or submit it as a .doc file or .rtf.
